Request an Absentee Ballot
To request a Mail-in-Ballot, please download and complete the
Absentee Ballot Request Form, sign it, and return it to the Board of Elections by mail, by fax to 202.347.2648, or by email in a scanned attachment to
[email protected].
NOTE: Even though the instructions for the form indicate you “must” print and sign, if you are unable to print, sign, and/or scan the form, save the completed form as a pdf and email it to
[email protected]
If you have already requested a ballot, please do not submit a duplicate request.
Requests for Mail-in-Ballots must be received no later than the 15th day before each election.
You will receive your ballot by mail. Instructions on how to vote and return your ballot will be included along with your ballot.
Your voted and mailed ballot must be postmarked or otherwise demonstrated to have been sent on or before Election Day, and must arrive no later than the 10th day after Election Day.
